One of the best restaurants in the area, Cure will delight although it may not be cheap. Plates can range from smaller to larger based on price, you’ll find. It’s all fair though and the flavors are truly excellent, very considered. Each dish uses sustainable ingredients from local purveyors, adding to the charm. The area is funky, edging a farmers market parking lot, and you can dine right in said parking lot at 4 quaint outdoor picnic tables or inside at crowded smaller tables (not great for COVID). Service is sharp, friendly, smart, and makes sure you’re never left in the dark. They’re there when needed and invisible when not needed, a hallmark of a well managed place! Fans of rigorously authentic French food may find it too inventive and Americanized/trendy, but that’s your problem, not Cure’s. The cute little brick holding down the table sign, the dish towel napkins… it’s all a vibe. Hip to a fault some will surely say, but it’s got the high quality food to back up whatever ambiance it wants to throw down. Friends have been here more than once and recommended it. So now we’ll gladly return. Only suggestion would be better separation for menu items so portion size is clearer. We knew from our friends but otherwise it’s confusing what’s small and what’s not. The linguine is stunning, some of the best I’ve had (and I’ve tried a lot of spectacular pasta). Some will find it a bit salty. The daily fish was halibut, which was lovely. The lamb is also a stand out and the quirky sunday hot dog is honestly very good if just hilariously hip and obviously not so French. Cocktails also very solid. All of the ceramic and glass and flatware was unpretentious, going more for the American grill theme. Not a problem. Obviously if you aren’t down for the very simple outdoor seating or tighter indoor seating, you may not love every moment - but we surely did. :)

Cure has the perfect vibe, whether it be a cozy date for couples or a celebration for a bigger group. Moules-frites and coq a vin are my go-to dishes there. Drinks can't go wrong - try Like a Shark and Velvet Collar!

We've been to cure multiple times for both brunch and dinner and never been disappointed. They consistently deliver some of the best food and service in Rochester. The cocktails are worth a visit by themselves!

Very good food and an attentive wait staff. The atmosphere is kind of old stagecoach stop, steam punk vibe. It's not very large, but it's worthorth the trip. We had reservations but may have been able to sit at the bar.

My favorite restaurant in Rochester! Service is on point and food is top quality! The Beef Bourguignon and Coq Chasseur especially blew me away. Don’t skip on the salad or the green peas! And best cocktails I’ve ever had! They are all great, but the Scotch Louie has changed my perception on cocktails! Complex, balanced and accessible.

Wyatt may be inspirational and life changing at worst. Every night before pouring me the most voluptuous and sensational chartreuse shots, he whispers positive affirmations thru my eardrums to really set my night right. Best bartender in roc

This is a 5 star restaurant. Absolutely superb ingredients and immaculate orchestration of them. The short rib beef and biscuit was phenomenal. Poached egg was done perfectly with yolk that walked out of the white, rather than ran. Biscuit was brown and flaky with buttery and salty goodness. Nailed the strawberry danish real proper like with flaky and soft pastry and wholesome compote. Came back for dinner a few days later and the scallops were delicious with the perfect juicy and soft (but not raw) texture. It had a basil and herbed beats that I could eat—and I don’t eat beats. Ricotta cnocchi was so damn smooth it slid down the gullet with ease; no heavy chewing or rich resistance. Haven’t even had the pork chop I ordered yet but suspect it will be on point. Regardless, the delivery of all the above warrants a 5 star rating. Highly recommend. Mad props to the chef and cooks.

I made myself a reservation because you never know, even though I was a solo diner. It did fill up rather quickly. I’ve heard this was the best restaurant in town, and once I saw the offerings, I knew I had to try it. I was able to order off menu for my cocktail, which was impressive given the waiter knew what I had asked for without having to explain it. Both the food and drinks were heavenly, melt in your mouth kind of sensatiable. Bonus points for the staff having Shout wipes available after I made a spill on my dress, and all I had asked for was some club soda. This *is* the best place in town, no notes!

Girls weekend trip ended here for brunch. The restaurant is rustic, farm to table food with a very cozy vibe. The menu is impressive! You can tell the mixologist & chef collaborated with awe inspiring drinks and food! I got the hunting wives (love the catchy name) which was a milk punch with a nutty flavor and fee foam on top. Blown away by the drink ! I was so excited the bartender oked my drink choice, as there are brunch cocktails available, I preferred the one off the evening cocktail list. I ordered the kataifi which was a TASTE ADVENTURE!!! It was a hay-like crispy noodle which was light and airy, and in the center was 2 sunny side eggs with a herbal cream cheese. Wow!!! Great suggestion from our server, Fiona. Service was great, food and drink blew me away! This is a must stop if you are in the area! I can’t wait to try dinner!!
